? Al Ain? players Leave Today for Switzerland
Today Thursday at 7 a.m. Al Ain?s mission left for Switzerland. The administrative staff of the mission is headed by Mr. Hamad Nikheirat Al Amiri, member of the executive committee and the general supervisor of the first team, Al Radeef team and 18 years team, as well as Mattar Obaid Al Sahabani, director of the first team.....

The technical staff consists of the French coach Bruno Metsu, skipper assistant, Ahmed Abdulla, Coach assistant, Mohammed Al Minsi, and the Senegalese goalies trainer, Mitwali Mandi , who has lately joined Al Ain?s technical staff.

The list of players includes skipper of the team Salem Jawhar, Fahed Ali, Jumaa Khater, Mutaz Abdulla, Subait Khater, Abdulla Ali, Hamid Fakher, Abubacker Sanogo, Jumaa Abdulla, Mohamed Rashed, Mustafa Saeed, Ahmed Abdulla, Khalid Abdul Karim, Gharib Hareb, Mohamed Omar, Omar Gharib, Salem Ali, Mohamed Saeed, Hilal Saeed, Nasib Issac, Ahmed Saeed, Shihab Ahmed, Adnan Mohammed, Mohamed Awad and Hussein Ismail.

The mission is accompanied by a medical team comprising Plasying grounds doctor Wiskaw Edmund Sojaka and physiotherapist Edimar Da. Silva and the team?s masseur, Gotenburg.

Prior to leaving the airport, Mr. Hamad Bin Nikheirat Al Amiri, member of the executive committee and the general supervisor of the team, declared that the team are in their best condition, their morale is high and they realize the significance of the Asian championship.

With regard to Sultan Rashed who was absent from the team, though he was not absent from the list and the lineup, he will complete the treatment period and then join his teammates at the camp.

Olympic Mission Leaves Today
The Olympic team left the country at 7 a.m. today Thursday to set up their foreign camp in Switzerland in preparation for Athens 2004 Olympiad finals. The mission consists of four promising players from Al Ain club who excelled in the last season. They are Faisal Ali , Rami Yslam, Ali Misri, and Ali Ahmed Al Wahibi.

In a statement made by the player Ali Ahmed Al Wahibi to us he said that they would first strive to raise the name of Al Ain club high and represent it as the leader of the UAE clubs, and that they would powerfully try to raise the name of the UAE at the Championship and offer their best to present a superb and lovely image of soccer in the United Arab Emirates and show its progress and development.
